Sandor and Gerald were in High School by this time and were lucky to be so. There were 65 High Schools in Chatham county in the 1920s, all of which were white. Archie was helping to run the laundry. There were 4 or 5 Chinese families in Savannah during the 1920s, but as Papa came in 1889 we were the first.
